Online Guitar Lessons as a Learning Tool

December 28, 2009 on 7:37 am | By | In Arts

What type of person of you and how do you learn? Some people benefit from having a person or guitar teacher with them demonstrating and then watching you and giving real time advice. Others may benefit from Online Guitar Lessons. I fall into this category. If you are a person who needs structure ad strict guidance then maybe learning guitar online is not for you. However if you are someone who like to learn at the own pace and in the comfort of your own home than online lessons would work best for you. Either way you go, practice is the most important.

Card Makers can Also Scrapbook

December 28, 2009 on 3:22 am | By | In Arts

Shortly after my daughter was born, I realised that it was important to keep a record of her progress and accomplishments and I wanted to create something that we could cherish for many years to come. I had been into card making crafts for many years and so it was a natural progression for me to start a beautiful scrapbook containing photographs of my daughter and recording the many milestones along the way. She is 2 years old now and the scrapbook is nearly full, so I will soon be starting on volume two! I really must say that I have found this very rewarding and would definitely recommend that other like minded loving parents take up this wonderful hobby.

Current Broadway Musicals That Are On My Watch List

December 13, 2009 on 7:20 am | By | In Arts

Among the list of current broadway musicals that are shown in New York, there are two of them that I hope to watch with the whole family. First on my watch list is the Lion King. Even though we have already watched the story on film, seeing the Broadway version is something to get excited about. I look forward to hearing all the wonderful songs that are part of the soundtrack of the movie that I have watched. Second on my watch list is Shrek The Musical. Obviously, I love to watch Shrek The Musical because I had a great time watching it on film that I thought it would also be fun to watch its broadway version. These two musicals should be great shows to watch with my whole family.

I Love to Watch the Music Shows

December 9, 2009 on 7:57 am | By | In Arts

I was sitting at home watching TV. They had extraordinary show on about music. They talked about the best artists, how music originated and what people in music earn for a living. Then they went on to discuss electric guitar licks. There was a debate on who was the best at these. I liked all of the artists, but then I enjoy all types of music. I watch all of the music shows, and I play close attention to how the artist plays his instrument. You have to have a lot of talent and determination to get up in front of a large crowd. I mean, that is what makes them great.

Lets Learn How to Sing High Notes Without Straining

December 7, 2009 on 9:27 am | By | In Arts

If we want to learn how to sing high notes without straining we first must use the proper techniques associated with singing high.  People like Robert Plant or others who use a high screeching voice have practice relaxation techniques to open up their throats so they are able to sing in ways very difficult for many people.  When you first start singing, you may believe it’s not possible to sing high notes, but you will be surprised how your voice sounds when you use the proper techniques.  A lot can be accomplished with some practice and correct technique.  Just watch yourself grow as a singer.

Pacman is the best

December 5, 2009 on 7:25 am | By | In Arts

The great Filipino champion Manny Pacquiao finally gets to satisfy skeptics when he faces Floyd Mayweather Jr. this coming March.  Manny was faced all challenger and moved up through the division faster than anyone.  He often takes on bigger fighters and still has that knockout power.  I think Floyd will do a great deal of dancing and holding and in the end, the Pacman will win by KO by the 10th round.  Who will be left to fight after that?
