It’s Like Being a Big Kid, But With Better Pay

December 3, 2009 on 6:11 pm | By | In Reference

I love to draw, I have ever since I was a kid. I grew up on cartoons and comic books and I feel like a big kid as I’m still able to love both of those mediums. But now that I’m older I’ve found a way to take my childhood love and talent for drawing and turn it into a career. Now I work for an animation company and spend my time making cartoons today’s kids can enjoy. I love my job. The animator salary is only the second best thing next to having a job I actually enjoy and find meaningful.

A Great Youth Program

The Church of jesus christ of Latter-day Saints has a great scripture study class for youth called “Seminary”. For those outside of Utah, it is held very early in the morning – at 6am and it is quite the sacrifice, but totally worthwhile to spend the first hour of your day learning more about Jesus Christ and His word. A year is dedicated to each of these – The Old Testament, The New Testament, The Book of Mormon, and The Doctrine and Covenants along with the Pearl of Great Price and church history. I loved starting my day in that way.

A Little Bad

November 30, 2009 on 5:26 am | By | In Reference

Now, I just sit down before my PC desk, I am late because something happened this morning. Actually, it is a little bad for me. A few days ago, I found that the behind tire of my electric bicycle always in lack of air. So I had it reparied yesterday. But this morning, when I was going to work, I found the tire was flat totally. I thought it was maybe the old problem and I decided to pumped air into it. I thought I can arrived at the company, but I was wrong. It was bad that I got a flat on the way. Then, I called my BF and he brought the bicycle pump for me. (Because the tire would be broken too much if I moved it on its no air condition,so I had to make sure there was enough air in it. )We all thought then we can got the repair place by it. Can you guess what happened? The bicycle pump was broken when he pumped air into the tire. Oh, my God! So at last, my BF moved it to the repair place, actually it was not so far. If I went to find the repair place at the beginning, maybe there would not be so much trouble happened. But it happened actually, so I needn’t to regret. At least, all the things is OK now. It will also be a nice day! Come on! Please visit dongshu home.

Taking Care of Pigs is More Fun Than my Old Job

November 19, 2009 on 10:36 am | By | In Reference

I graduated from college, and began working my way up the corporate ladder. Within five years I realized my goals were making me money but not making me happy. Life was just not fun. I decided to buy a home in the country and the one I could afford turned out to have a small family of pigs which came with it. The idea of caring for the friendly, muddy animals was a little scary. I went online and found everything I could about taking care of pigs, then began my Great Pig Adventure. My instincts had been right. From the beginning my life was more fun. I even like getting covered in mud while I’m cleaning my pets.

My work wants me to transfer

November 10, 2009 on 6:12 am | By | In Reference

I am a little hesitant to transfer to a country where I cannot speak to anyone. I can only hope I am capable of learning something new. But I tried when I was young and I couldn’t do it, but then again I may of not had the motivation I do now. I am single and I can move, but can I use some language learning software to learn enough to do business in a foreign place? I have no idea but I guess I will try, I told them let me think on it a bit, as it is not imperative I go real soon, they are willing to give me a little time.
