I Was Afraid of Talking to People

I used to be afraid of talking to people. I think it generated from being teased as a child. My family was poor, I wore clothes that were from the thrift store, and I could never afford to go on school trips. Besides that, my religion was different from everyone else’s. So of course, I was a natural target for the other kids. I carried the insecurities that resulted from these experiences into my adult life, even when my situation improved. But no longer. From the minute I returned from a neurolinguistic programing australia seminar, I was empowered to become a different person. And, I am happy to say, I have.
