I couldn’t ask for anything better.

Do you know what a BDC reticle is?  It’s something that Nikon Rifle Scopes pride themselves on.  Here’s the way it works.  When a bullet is fired, it has a velocity when it exits the muzzle.  As wind resistance and gravity begin to take over, the trajectory of the bullet begins to drop.  The further the distnace, the more the bullet will drop from the target mark.  And so, that is what the bullet drop compensating reticle is for.  It has tic marks on the verticle cross hair at set intervals.  Each tic mark represents how much the bullet will drop at given distances.  This is usually two hundred yards, three hundred yards, etc.  They are a nice enhancement for your rifle scope.
