Not Exactly What I Had In Mind

when my parents decided to go on vacation last year, I of course wanted to go along. I had visions of laying on the beach sipping cold drinks and listening to reggae music. However, my parents had in mind was Everglades fishing charters. They had visions of hooking big one, packing it is ice and feeding it to everyone in our neighborhood. That wasn’t exactly how I would like to spend my summer vacation. But, I suppose it’s true what they say, different strokes for different folks. When they tell me next year that they want to go up into the mountains for vacation, all know what they really mean is they want to go hunting and I’ll stay home.
