Sump Pump Alarm Went Off

The other night, it was raining cats and dogs. My basement is prone to flooding, but the sump pump usually takes care of it. Well for some reason the power breaker flipped and the sump pump alarm went off. My husband was away on a business trip and I had no clue what to do. I ended up calling a plumber. I did not want to go down in the basement and see what was wrong because I was afraid of being electrocuted. The light wouldn’t come on and I was still afraid there might be some electrical currents. It ended up costing me one hundred dollars for the plumber to flip the breaker back on.
