The city has little rain and is coldest in January and February when morning temperatures can dip into the high thirties. The warmest months are in July and August when temperatures can reach to a sweltering eighty degrees.
The summer months can bring a high pollen count to Sonora, California and visitors are cautioned to bring seasonal allergy medication when travelling there.
