It takes the skill of the diamond cutter to bring out the beauty in a stone and the knowledge of the diamond specialist to know its true value and beauty. The value of jewellery diamonds is evaluated by what is known as the four “C’s” Carat, Clarity, Color and Cut. The carat being how much the diamond weighs. The clarity is how clear and uniform the diamond is. The color of a diamond, yes they do come in different colors. And the cut, this will also have an effect on the price of the diamond after it has been cut and polished from its raw form.
